After discovering the Korean pavilion in Paris at the World Expo of 1900, I propose a major step forward ... of 62 years!

Indeed, although the country has participated in other Expos between 1900 and 1962, it was during the Japanese period. Korea was then represented in Japan pavilions.

The 1962 World's Fair takes place in the United States, specifically in Seattle. Located northwest of the country is the largest city in Washington State.

This Expo has a name that epitomizes the theme of the Expo:
Century 21
What tomorrow will be done?

The Seattle World's Fair wanted to give to its 10 million visitors a glimpse into the life of man in the 21st century, on developments in the industry, science, commerce and culture, sports and entertainment.
Many buildings were built to be conserved at the end of expo, such as opera, theater, coliseum, the pavilion of science, as well as the symbol of this expo, the Space Needle, a tower than 600 feet high, topped with three platforms and a panoramic restaurant.
