Italy pavilion...

For the moment, not much new information on the pavilion of Italy.
Less than 50 days before the opening, we would have liked to see some pictures a little more recent of the pavilion, but patience!

The Pavilion of Italy :

Located in the central area of the Expo, the innovative Digital Avenue, the Italian Pavilion will be equipped with cutting-edge technology: LED displays, Wi-Fi cover, audio-visual simulation and high-definition holographic projections are just some of the technologies that will be on display.

The Pavilion will have a surface area of over 1,600 m2, divided into promotion and display areas for shopping and catering services, and a mezzanine reserved for meetings and presentations by enterprises and institutional partners.

At the end of the visitors’ route the Italian Pavilion will have a special display area dedicated to the Milano 2015 Universal Exposition.

Excellence and innovation
The Agency for the Dissemination of Innovation Technology, in collaboration with the Department for the Digitalisation of Government and Technological Innovation, has included Yeosu’s Expo as one of the objectives of the new edition of the “An Italy of Innovators” project. This initiative aims to nurture the best examples of Italian innovation and technological excellence.
The project consists of pre-selecting our cutting-edge businesses on the basis of their process and product innovations. It will then support them in markets with a high development potential by creating a “landing platform” in situ, in the form of physical and virtual premises to bring them to the attention of a broader public.

The Commissariat for the Yeosu Expo invites Italian enterprises with new ideas or innovative patents to take part in the “An Italy of Innovators” project in order to enjoy the institutional support available to the companies selected. These businesses will also benefit from the increased visibility arising from their presence in the Italian Pavilion.
The sectors eligible to be selected and presented at the Yeosu Expo must be connected in some way with the main theme of the Exposition (The Living Ocean and Coast: Diversity of Resources and Sustainable Activities) and with its sub-themes (Development and Preservation of the Ocean and Coast; New Resources Technology; Creative Maritime Activities).

Arts and entertainment
The Italian Pavilion will be staging numerous events during the 3 months of the Expo. Concerts of classical, traditional and contemporary music; opera and exhibitions of photography and works of art by the great Italian masters. The events taking place on Italian Day will feature famous personalities and attract visitors from all over the Expo.
Marine archaeology – an important feature in Italy, given the important findings recovered from our seas – will be given ample space in the Italian Pavilion. Meetings and debates will be organised on the main themes of the Expo, with the participation of Italian organisations, market-leading enterprises, and academics and researchers. And last, but certainly not least, a special space will be devoted to traditional Italian seafood.

L'excellence et l'innovation
L'Agence pour la Diffusion de l'innovation technologique, en collaboration avec le Département pour la numérisation du gouvernement et de l'innovation technologique, a inclus l'Expo de Yeosu comme l'un des objectifs de la nouvelle édition de "l'Italie des innovateurs» du projet. Cette initiative vise à favoriser les meilleurs exemples d'innovation italiennes et l'excellence technologique.
Le projet consiste en une pré-sélection de nos entreprises avant-gardistes sur la base de leur processus et les innovations de leurs produits. Il sera alors possible de les accompagner sur les marchés avec un fort potentiel de développement en créant une «plateforme d'atterrissage" in situ, sous la forme de locaux physiques et virtuels pour les porter à l'attention d'un public plus large.


Le Commissariat à l'Expo Yeosu invite les entreprises italiennes avec de nouvelles idées ou des brevets innovants à prendre part à cette "Italie des innovateurs» du projet afin de bénéficier de l'appui institutionnel à la disposition des entreprises sélectionnées. Ces entreprises bénéficieront également d'une visibilité accrue découlant de leur présence dans le pavillon italien.
Les secteurs susceptibles d'être choisies et présentées à l'Expo Yeosu doivent être connectés en quelque sorte avec le thème principal de l'Exposition (et des océans vivants côte: la diversité des ressources et activités durables) et avec ses sous-thèmes (développement et la préservation de la l'océan et la côte, les Nouvelles ressources de la technologie, Creative des activités maritimes).


Arts et spectacles
Le pavillon italien verra la mise en scène de nombreux événements au cours des 3 mois de l'Expo. Concerts de musique classique, traditionnelle et contemporaine, opéra, expositions de photographies et oeuvres d'art réalisées par des grands maîtres italiens. Les événements qui se déroulent lors de la Journée italienne mettront en vedette des personnalités célèbres et attireront des visiteurs de l'Expo toute entière.
L'archéologie sous-marine - un domaine important en Italie, compte tenu des trouvailles importantes récupérées dans nos mers - sera amplement représentée dans l'espace dans le pavillon italien. Des rencontres et débats seront organisés sur les thèmes principaux de l'Expo, avec la participation des organisations italiennes, leaders sur le marché des entreprises et des universitaires et des chercheurs. Et le dernier, mais certainement pas le moindre, un espace spécial sera consacré à la mer italienne traditionnelle.
